THE WORD "BIBLE", THE TREASURE OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

The Holy Bible

Did you know that the word "Bible" cannot be found in the Holy Scripture? This word came from the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church is the one who approves the Bible.

The word "Bible" came from the word Koine Greek τὰ βιβλία ta biblia "the books".

But some sects like Ang Dating Daan of Eli Soriano, Kingdom of Jesus Christ of Apollo Quiboloy, Jesus is Lord Church of Bro. Eddie Villanueva, Iglesia ni Cristo of Felix Manalo, etc. is using the this Holy book. They are using the treasure of the Catholic Church. So it means that  if there is no Catholic Church there is no Bible. The doctrines of the Catholic Church can be found in the Bible. It means that the teachings of these sects  are unbiblical.

Why are these sects don't send us a "thank you" letter? We are letting them to borrow our own Treasure-- The BIBLE!

    1. I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have other gods before Me.
    2. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
    3. Remember to keep Holy the sabbath day.
    4. Honor thy father and thy mother.
    5. thou shall not kill.
    6. Thou shall not commit adultery
    7. Thou shall not steal.
    8. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
    9. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's wife.
    10. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's goods.

    Biblical 10 Commandments
    1. I am the Lord thy God, thou shall not have other gods before Me.
    2. Thou shall not make thee any graven image.
    3. Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
    4. Remember to keep Holy the sabbath day.
    5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
    6. thou shall not kill.
    7. Thou shall not commit adultery
    8. Thou shall not steal.
    9. Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

    2. I have quoted here the text from the Catechism of the Catholic Church so as to put to rest this lie spread by anti-Catholics that the Church has changed the ten commandments. Here it is right on the first part under the Article on the Ten Commandments:

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them.3 [Ex 20:2-5; cf. Deut 5:6-9]

Now tell me. Is the Catholic Church hiding anything? Please stop this nonsense! Congrats to Mar Domingo for running this blog.
